The D-Link DCS-3511 HD PoE Day/Night Network Camera is a full featured entry level HD network camera equipped with 1 Megapixel Progressive Scan CMOS sensor and 2.8 to 12 mm DC iris varifocal lens. The cameras can capture HD video at resolutions of up to 1280 x 800 with frame rates up to 30 fps. Video can be saved to a network drive, onboard storage with its built-in microSD card slot or to an NVR (network video recorder) or VMS (video management software).
High Definition Surveillance
The DCS-3511 is built with a megapixel image sensor to give you high-quality video with resolutions up to 720p HD. Get a closer look with ePTZ, which lets you digitally zoom, pan and tilt across your camera’s video so you can survey a large area easily. A Power over Ethernet (PoE) port allows you to connect the DCS-3511 to your network and power it through a single cable, simplifying deployment and doing away with the need for a nearby power outlet.
Imaging Flexibility
The DCS-3511 includes a 4x optical zoom varifocal lens for field of view flexibility. If you need an extreme wide angle or telephoto view, the DCS-3511 is compatible with thousands of 3rd party CS-mount lenses.
High Speed Access To Multiple Video Streams
The DCS-3511 supports simultaneous streaming of H.264, MPEG-4, and MJPEG video to provide both high-quality and bandwidth-efficient compression formats. Additionally, the DCS-3511 supports multicast H.264 and MPEG-4 streaming, allowing users to view the camera feed by subscribing to a multicast IP address on the network.
Video Management Software
The DCS-3511 HD PoE Day/Night Network Camera includes D-ViewCam, a complete surveillance software package that enables you to view, manage, and record from up to 32 cameras on a single computer in a central location. Recordings and e-mail alerts can be triggered through motion detection or events triggered by digital input devices, keeping administrators informed of any unusual activity.
